1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using waahanasale.lk, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use waahanasale.lk. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. Listings and content
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings. You agree to provide truthful information about any vehicle you list, including its condition, price, and ownership. waahanasale.lk may remove listings that violate these terms or applicable law.
4. Listings we create for you
Where you ask us to, waahanasale.lk may create and manage a listing on your behalf — for example when you send us photographs and a price and we publish the advertisement for you. We do this only with your agreement, and we do not open an account in your name. Such a listing shows your own contact details and is marked as having been posted on your behalf, so buyers contact you directly. You may take control of the listing at any time by claiming it into an account you create yourself, or ask us to remove it, and we will do so promptly. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, exactly as if you had posted it yourself.
5. Intellectual Property
By uploading content (such as images, text, or details) to waahanasale.lk, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display this content in connection with the platform. You may not copy, scrape, or extract content from waahanasale.lk without our express written permission.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not post false, misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content; impersonate others; harass other users; or attempt to disrupt the platform. Listings for stolen vehicles or with falsified documents are strictly prohibited.
7. Paid Services and Refunds
Certain services, such as premium ads (Top Ad, Urgent), require payment. All payments are non-refundable once the ad or service is activated. We reserve the right to remove paid listings that violate our policies without providing a refund.
8. Transactions between users
waahanasale.lk is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction, do not take possession of vehicles, and do not handle payments between users. Any agreement is solely between the buyer and the seller.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. waahanasale.lk does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the conduct of users, or the outcome of any transaction.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, waahanasale.lk is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or from transactions between users.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless waahanasale.lk, its affiliates, and employees from any claim or demand, including legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms & Conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and restrict your access to the platform without prior notice if you breach these terms or engage in suspected fraudulent activities.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Sri Lankan courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
